Founded and developed products for Lampla—a home-operated company 3D printing modular, cozy lamps
Overview
I founded and built Lampla from the ground up—designing the product line, creating the branding, and setting up production workflows using 3D printing techniques. Every lamp was prototyped, tested, and refined to print cleanly without supports, enabling a zero-waste production pipeline.
Beyond product creation, I developed the online storefront, directed photoshoots to establish a strong social media presence, and wrote effective ad copy that spoke to my audience. This holistic approach turned a foray into 3D printing and parametric design to a scalable home-operated company.

Brand identity
Lampla’s brand is designed to feel warm and inviting, with a name that’s both playful and intentional. It clearly signals the product’s purpose while subtly referencing the sustainable, plant-based PLA (polylactic acid) used to make each piece.
The visual identity draws from the lamp’s soft, organic forms, reflected in the rounded typeface and the signature angled star mark. The star symbolizes not just light, but its original natural source—the sun—embodying warmth, creativity, and individuality.
A calm, neutral yellow anchors the palette, evoking sunlight and pairing with Lampla’s core product colors (olive, terracotta, and beige) without overpowering them. The result is a cohesive identity rooted in nature, creativity, and personal expression.
Product design
Every Lampla piece is designed for both beauty and function, with a twist-lock system that lets lamps snap onto different bases. The compact nest holds small items like jewelry, keys, or a smart speaker, while the extended tray version adds extra surface area and includes an insertable cup, transforming the lamp into a versatile organizer for desks, vanities, or bedside tables.
This modularity supports Lampla’s focus on personal expression, allowing users to adapt their setup to fit their space and style. Neutral yet expressive color options make the lamps feel at home in any area, and built-in cable management keeps everything tidy.
Each shade design tells a story: Membrane reflects the layered forms found in nature, while Downpour captures the motion and rhythm of heavy rain—bringing energy and meaning to everyday objects.

Manufacturing
Designed and optimized all lamp components for seamless 3D printing—prioritizing zero-waste production with no support material. I handled every stage from CAD modeling in Fusion 360 to slicing and testing on Bambu Lab printers.
Each design was engineered for visual quality, structural strength, and fast, reliable prints. Advanced G-code tuning and modular testing enabled consistent production across multiple printers, maximizing both quality and scalability.
Marketing
I created a set of launch ads and brand visuals that highlight Lampla’s charm, modularity, and tone—keeping the messaging simple, clear, and consistent across formats.
To support this, I directed a strategic photoshoot that prioritized interaction on digital platforms, with shots designed for unique hover reveals and seamless environment transitions. These efforts gave Lampla a strong visual foundation and a clear voice, helping it connect with audiences in a playful but purposeful way.
